About Trivia+
Live trivia. Real prizes. Unforgettable nights. Here's the full story.
Trivia+ was born out of a simple belief: that the best nights out are the ones where everyone's engaged, laughing, competing for bragging rights.
Combining the classic pub quiz format with some technological upgrades and skill-based side games has allowed us to create something far more interactive.
We present hosted sessions at least two times daily and every game is carefully crafted with a mix of categories, difficulty levels and surprise rounds to keep players engaged and gunning for the top spot until the very end.
We'll test your knowledge on a wide variety of topics and, to make sure you can also walk the walk, and to earn the best points, you'll need to show that you've got the skills to back up the brains with mini-games.
This guarantees that no two games are ever the same and just because you win once, doesn't mean you've got what it takes every time. The stakes have never been higher now that you can win your money back, plus a lot more.
Trivia+ exists to bring people together. In a world where screens dominate social life, we create spaces where strangers become teammates, competitors become friends, and everyone walks away with a story to tell.
Our core goals are:
- ▸Foster genuine community connections through shared, competitive fun
- ▸Provide a venue to drive footfall and in-person engagement
- ▸Make live, skill-based entertainment accessible and exciting for everyone outside of the bar scene
- ▸Reward real life knowledge, quick thinking and mad skills with real prizes
- ▸Reinvest in our community
Every session is designed to be welcoming to first-timers while still challenging for regulars — because the best community is one where everyone belongs.
We're just getting started. Here's what's on the roadmap for Trivia+:
Giving back locally
When Trivia+ becomes a profitable business, 10% of monthly earnings will start being donated to local charitable organizations. The player with the highest points at the end of each month on the leaderboard will be given the chance to choose which organization that month's contribution will go to.
Team Play
Group reservations and team-based scoring so squads can compete together.
Tournaments
We will host monthly tournaments for other well-known and loved games, starting with chess. Virtually any game based on strategy and skill can be made into a tournament. Have a favorite? Use the Feedback form to let us know!
Trivia+ Championships
Special event playoffs for individual and team high scorers competing for a grand prize and eternal glory.
Private Events
Custom private and corporate events for team-building, launches and parties.
Digital Integration
Enhanced real-time features, audience polling, and multimedia question formats.
Customer input
Watch for requests for feedback in your profile. As we consider what services to offer, we'll want your thoughts on what you'd like to see offered. Make sure your voice is heard!
More ideas to dazzle and entertain
Help us make Trivia+ a success because we're only just getting started. There's more than one way to entertain a crowd...
Each Trivia+ session is a live, host-led event. Here's how a session unfolds, start to finish.
Four game formats to choose from
Four game formats to choose from - As part of our commitment to make each Trivia+ session unique and original, we offer four distinct, single-player game formats:
Zero to Hero includes 3 rounds and the Winner's Challenge at the end for first and second place, where the final prize is decided. Fewer winners, larger cash prizes. This format has some twists and turns to unlock to keep it lively. The point system is unique and will keep everyone on the edge of their seat until the very end.
Battle Royale (Elimination) includes 3 rounds and a cash prize is paid out to 1st and 2nd player at the end of the game. Everyone starts each round and you're in as long as you answer correctly. Multiple choice, true or false and open-ended questions are used in this format. The top scorer from each round will compete for the prize at the end.
Crosswords is 4 rounds, with a fresh puzzle each round. A cash prize is paid to the winner of each round. Correct answers allows you to choose a letter for the puzzle and a guess at a word. Correctly guess a word and gain the total of the letter points in that word. All players get one chance to guess at the puzzle's theme for the biggest point jump of the round. It's anyone's game!
Drill-Down - This format has 4 rounds and a cash prize to be awarded at the end of each. Trivia questions answered correctly give the player up to three additional questions on the same topic at the primary question to show off your knowledge. Each drill down question is worth more points than the last. Get one answer wrong, however, and another player with the right answer can steal your remaining questions! The good news? All points you already earned, you keep.
Please note: At the start of each session, the host will take a vote to determine with format will be used. Majority rules. The host will break any tie.
Reserve Your Seat
Book your spot in advance through the Schedule page. Sessions have limited capacity, so early reservation is encouraged.
Join the Session
A handheld device (phone or tablet) is required to play Trivia+
To interact with the Game Host and the game itself, you will use your handheld device, and a buzzer that will be assigned to you for the session. When the host goes live at the start of the session, head to the 'Reserved' page, then find and select the current session date and time. No further setup is needed.
*A note about buzzers and your handheld device: Originally, all players were going to use only their handheld device to play, until we became aware of signal latency over wifi. Essentially, newer devices would have a significant advantage over previous generations. We're only talking milliseconds, but when you're trying to get a bunch of people to buzz in all at once, they matter. As such, in the sessions when speed matters, the buzzers will be used in conjunction with your device throughout the game. When accuracy is more important than speed, your device will be used. We apologize for the added complexity, but it was only done so to make sure you all are on the same footing. And hey, now you get a game show buzzer to smack with your hand! So satisfying....
The Host Runs the Questions
Your host presents questions one at a time across multiple rounds. Categories can range from pop culture and sports to science, history, and everything in between.
Multiple answer formats
Trivia+ uses a few different question/answer formats, including traditional question/answer buzzer, true or false, and multiple choice.
Side Games
Through multiple rounds of trivia, side challenges will be offered for big point boosts, but are completely optional.
Score Points
Correct answers earn you points, tracked live on the leaderboard. The host controls scoring, and standings update in real time for all players to see.
Win Prizes
At the end of all rounds, the player (or players) at the top of the leaderboard wins a cash prize. See the Prizes section below for full details.
A Few Things to Keep in Mind
There are a lot of trivia-based games out there, and they all have their own rules and formats. If you can't leave any preconceived notions or past experiences at the door, you will be at a disadvantage from the get-go. For that reason, I'm providing these hints as a fair warning to all.
Trivia+ is all about having a spontaneous good time but there are rules to gameplay. However, the rules don't address everything that could happen and very few things are specifically forbidden. Your host has the power to grant points as they see fit. So, for instance, perhaps you don't know the correct answer to a question, but your mock answer is hilarious, and the host is cracking up along with the crowd. As a result, they award you points. The point is to always play by the rules, but have fun dancing around them as well.
The accumulation of knowledge really comes down to paying attention to details. Thus, it behoves you to start paying attention now. One never knows what details are brought up in a session, and it's entirely possible that your game has already begun.
And finally, we can't stress enough that in order to win, you must stay on your toes! At times, your game host may try to trick you, or everyone at the same time! So listen close to the instructions, read a bit between the lines, keep an eye out for clues and stay sharp to win!
Good luck!

Your Progress Toward a Free Session
Every 10th stamp = 1 free session ($20 value). Stamps never expire.
How It Works
Reserve and attend any paid Trivia+ session.
Your session count is automatically updated on your player profile after each event.
On your 10th, 20th, 30th session (and every 10th after), your next session entry is free of charge.
Free session credits are applied automatically at checkout — no coupon codes needed.
Your session count is visible on your profile. Log in and head to My Games to track how close you are to your next free session.
Prize money is funded directly from the entry pool for each individual session. The more players, the bigger the pot. In the pursuit of ensuring every session is unique and different than the last, there are several game formats that will be used. Each format will have a slightly different prize structure. Sometimes there will only be one final winner that takes all, sometimes a couple players will win cash, and other times, there will be winners at the end of every round. The game host will reveal prize amounts in each session. Use the Feedback option to let us know if you have a favorite format!
Each month that Trivia+ is profitable, a championship playoff will be held to determine and award the winner. The amount will be announced prior to the playoff date. The winner will also be given the opportunity to select which charity the donation of 10% of Trivia+'s net profits will be donated to for that month.
When & Where
The monthly championship is held on the second Sunday of the following month. For example, all players who qualify for a spot during August 2026 will be invited to compete on Sunday, September 13, 2026.
How Qualification Works
At the end of the month, the top 50 players on the leaderboard are automatically entered into the championships for that month. There is no further action needed on your part to enter.
Invitations will be sent out (as outlined below) and if Trivia+ receives notification from a qualified player that they cannot attend the championship event, the next player on the leaderboard will be invited.
All points accumulated from all sessions played by every player during the month are added to your leaderboard monthly total. Taking first or second place on any night is not required to qualify for the playoffs.
Invitation & Reminders
Once you qualify, you'll receive a series of email communications sent to the email address on your player profile:
Day after qualifying session
A formal invitation email confirming your spot in the upcoming championship.
End of the month
A reminder email as the championship date approaches.
Day before the playoff
A final email with all the details you need for game day.
Make sure your profile email is up to date — it's the only way we can reach you with your invitation. Missed emails mean missed championships!
Annual Championship
The twelve monthly champions will be entered into the annual championship. Information and invitations will be sent to those players after the twelfth player qualifies.
A word about points... All points earned by all players in every round of every game of every game format at Trivia+ are automatically added to your monthly Leaderboard standing at the end of the round (if your points return to zero for the next round) or at the end of the session if they don't. In the course of gameplay, your points are never taken away from you. That is simply not how these games were built. You earned them and get to keep them, with one exception.
Your game host is all-powerful and is granted the ability and authority to add or take away points as they see fit. When players are being fun, following the rules, and generally contributing to a pleasurable experience for the crowd, your host may award points to those people.
Conversely, if the hosts identifies a person or people in the crowd that are negative, detracting from the positive experience of others, being a sore loser, and not following the rules as outlined, the first course of action for the game host is to give warnings to these people by way of taking points away.
In the game format "Zero to Hero", the point system is unique to that game in that the players choose if they want to take the positive or negative point track. That is only a means to introduce strategy to the game and at the end of the session, all points, negative included, are added positively to Leaderboard standings.
However, the computer code was also written this way to give the host the power to take any players' point negative well and far past zero. No player with poor behavior should think they have nothing to lose if they are at or get to zero points in the session. Your in-session points will go first. Any points down past zero will be taken away from your monthly Leaderboard standing.
If those points get to zero, you'll be removed from Trivia+, possibly for the one session, or perhaps forever. That is completely dependent on the situation and entirely up to you.
If this is you at some point, perhaps you won't care, but keep in mind that no entry on the monthly Leaderboard means no invitation to the monthly championships. If you can't win a monthly championship, you can't play in the annual playoffs either.
The invite to these playoffs likely represent winnings of thousands of dollars, not to mention any cash won during individual sessions. So you think about your attitude before you start mouthing off to your host about how you think this game should be played, or what you believe the answer to a question should be, or to other players about literally anything negative and understand the rules of this venue well.
We guarantee that you will not ruin the good time that these other players have come here to find and you will only ruin your own chances of the windfalls being offered here. So make good choices and check yourself at the door!
